About Me
Hello there, I'm Karim — a physician turned product leader passionate about building clinically-safe, human-centred digital health products.
I’ve spent my career at the intersection of medicine, design, and technology, helping teams turn complex clinical problems into intuitive, evidence-based products people trust and use.
I currently work as a Clinical Product Manager and Clinical Safety Officer at Semble, shaping one of Europe’s leading electronic health record platforms used by thousands of clinicians. My focus: ensuring innovation never comes at the expense of safety or usability.
Previously, I co-founded Kuma Health, a venture backed by Zinc VC, to personalise care for people with autoimmune diseases. I also collaborated with researchers at King’s College London to bridge clinical research and real-world care.
With degrees in Healthcare & Design (Imperial College London & RCA) and Educational Technology (Université Paris Cité), I believe the future of health depends on thoughtful design — not just more technology.
My work sits at the intersection of clinical safety, product strategy, and user experience — shaping products that clinicians trust and patients actually benefit from.
